Do you want to help make a difference in the lives of animals?

We are looking for dedicated volunteers who can commit to working at least 3 four hour shifts per month at Kindred Spirits Rescue Ranch. We need volunteers on weekdays and weekends, but especially weekdays.

Volunteers must be at least 17 years old and be able to lift heavy items such as hay bales, water troughs, and feed bags. Ability to drive a quad is not necessary but is a definite plus.

Farm chores include feeding and watering the animals, cleaning stalls and pens, putting new bedding down, etc. It is physically demanding work (and dirty! Think mud... poop...) but is extremely rewarding as you build relationships with the animals and know that you are helping them to receive the best possible care.

Please plan to arrive by noon so that we can start on time and wear jeans and sturdy shoes (preferably knee high boots) that you don't mind getting dirty. Please dress for the cold weather. If the temperature falls below 25 degrees on the afternoon of the event, it will be rescheduled.
